Why law? – I have always been fascinated by the power of words and the ability to make a difference through persuasive arguments. Law, with its emphasis on effective communication, became a natural choice for me. On getting into university, reading about landmark legal cases and the impact they had on society also ignited my curiosity and led me to further explore a career in law.
I always knew it had to be an area of law relating to businesses and commerce because my dad is a serial entrepreneur, I grew up watching him run his petrol stations, and bakeries simultaneously and successfully, so I got to love the idea of running a business, understanding the risks involved and helping them understand the real legal implications of making certain business decisions.
Hobbies – I like to play jigsaw puzzles because they help me to unwind and get away from looking at screens all day – computer screens, TV and my phone. I also recently discovered there’s a word for that – dissectologist, so I guess it is safe to say I’m a dissectologist!
