I went through school and college not really knowing what I wanted to do for a career, and so decided to study Law at university as it was a pretty useful degree for a wide range of careers. When I began studying Law I realised that working to practically apply what I had learned during my degree was actually more to my liking than I had thought, and so I decided to quality as a Solicitor following completion of my degree.
Having recently moved into the world of commercial claims on the Claimant side after having spent almost 20 years working in the RTA arena on behalf of Defendants, I am currently immersing myself in all aspects of Business Interruption claims and Commercial Claims litigation. My aim is to help to ensure that the BIC team is working as effectively as possible whilst achieving technical excellence and optimal outcomes.
Outside of work, I am a keen golfer with a handicap of 4.4 and a long-suffering Everton fan. I am married with a 2 year old daughter and live just outside Chorley in Lancashire.
