Samuel joined Barings Law in 2023 as a Operational Project Manager and Trainee Solicitor.

Samuel completed the GDL at The University of Sheffield and completed the LPC and Master of Science in Law, Business and Management at The University of Law. Samuel is currently working within the Dispute Resolution Department which specialises in complex and sophisticated financial products across retail markets within the finance services sector – including (but not limited to) cases against financial advisers and pension providers relating to negligent mis-selling and mismanagement of both pensions and investments.

Samuel has worked on a variety of legal matters including contentious pension transfers, high-risk and unsuitable investments and most recently Authorised Push Payment fraud. Samuel has successfully acted on behalf of multiple clients and secured compensation by applying the applicable law, FCA regulations, industry standards and binding authorities and determinations to client matters.
