George Smith

Practice Manager

Throughout his upbringing in Kendal, George was inspired by the importance of hard work and this is something he has always tried to incorporate in his working life.

After completing a degree in Geography at Manchester Metropolitan University, George remained in the city. Having worked in several roles that required efficient organisation, he joined Barings Law in 2021.

With a well-honed analytical mind and a proven problem-solving skill set, George quickly progressed to a role as Reports and Vetting Manager, a highly-responsible position which requires a great deal of strategic multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment.

George was appointed as Barings Law’s Practice Manager in 2023 and is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of service for our clients, as well as a robust support network that enables our colleagues to provide this.
